The Waschi Uprising caused by xenophobic Caldari in the effort to remove the Intaki from Kamokor IV.

Background[edit | edit source]

After the First Gallente-Caldari War in light of their service to the State, the Intakis war veterans were offered cheap land and accommodations in Waschi City on the planet of Kamokor IV. Overtime they adjusted to their lifestyle until radicals, heavily influenced by State propaganda, became increasing xenophobic and demanded the deportation of all foreigners and close their borders.

Waschi Uprising[edit | edit source]

The xenophobic Caldari pushed the former Intaki war veterans off of Kamokor IV. Though Caldari authorities tried to put an end to this the uprising. In response, the Intakis contacted their old commander Mordu to help them defend themselves and get back what was rightfully theirs. Mordu, now retired, agreed to assist. Though neither Mordu or the Intakis were part of the Caldari Navy. But this didn't deterred the group from forming an independent mercenary group to fight the radicals. This was the beginning of Mordu’s Legion.

The Legion, mostly consisting of old veterans from the war with the Federation and young hotheads eager for action, helped the Caldari Navy tear the radicals’ forces to shreds under the skillful command of Mordu. Impressed by their actions the Caldari authorities offered the group to merge with the Caldari Navy. Mordu and the other leaders of the Legion declined, instead decided to make the Legion into a mercenary group.

Aftermath[edit | edit source]

After the Waschi Uprising, the radicals disbanded and the Intaki war veterans, under the command of Muryia Mordu, formed the Mordu's Legion. They became a trusted mercenary corporation with close ties to the Caldari State. Since then the Legion has set up home in Pure Blind and operates as a professional mercenary group.
