The Theology Council is a powerful religious orgizantion that once ruled the Amarr Empire, the Theology Council has a similiar role to that as the supreme court within the other empires. It serves as a moral police and hunter of heretics, which gives it considerable power within the Empire, allowing them to investigate, question and imprison almost anyone.

The Theology Council was formed by the Emperor following the Moral Reforms. It served, originally, as a gathering of religious leaders to convened to create a new canon of Scriptures that would ensure the Emperor’s strength. They were eventually made permanent and their Inquisitors worked to purge the Empire’s faith to fit the new order.
