During the reign of Emperor Zaragram II, the Council was usurped by the Emperor who proclaimed himself the divine manifestation of God. After Zaragram's death, the Council tried to erase all history of him and for a short period became very powerful. However, this amount of power eventually led to the Moral Reforms.
The Council of Apostles was dissolved during the Moral Reforms. Much of its powers was transferred to the Emperor and the Privy Council. Though, many of its records and artifacts were preserved by the Order of St. Tetrimon.
