The Apotheosis is a Jovian-designed shuttle, used mainly by the Society of Conscious Thought. It was first given to all Capsuleers in YC 110, and is given out to Omega capsuleers through login rewards every year on EVE's Birthday, since YC 118.
Besides its higher scan resolution, it functions the same as any other shuttle.
It is a stripped-down version of the Metamorphosis, the SOCT's exploration frigate.
